CommandIt 1.1.0
CommandIt Plus is live. Subscribe, activate, and manage your license — all from inside the app or the website.
Highlights
CommandIt Plus now runs on Stripe with a 7-day free trial. The pricing page at commandit.ai/pricing lets you compare monthly and annual side by side, and Stripe’s checkout shows the savings if you upgrade from monthly to annual. License keys arrive by email with a one-click activation link.
What’s New
- Stripe payments — CommandIt Plus subscriptions are now powered by Stripe. 7-day free trial, $4.99/mo or $49/yr, with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
- One-click license activation — the license email includes an “Activate CommandIt” button that opens the app and activates your license automatically.
- Pricing page redesign — segmented Monthly/Annual picker replaces the old toggle. Both plans are always visible with clear pricing on the CTA button.
- New Snippet from Selection — Quick Capture has been renamed and is now free for all users (previously Plus-only). Press ⌃⇧Space to turn your clipboard into a new snippet.
- Onboarding redesign — streamlined from 8 steps to 5 interactive steps focused on the core loop.
- AI Settings redesign — clearer enable/configure states for AI model providers.
Improvements
- In-app upgrade buttons now open the pricing page where you can choose your plan, instead of going directly to annual-only checkout.
- Stripe Billing Portal “Return to CommandIt” link goes to a real page instead of a 404.
- License plan (monthly/annual) refreshes automatically after changes in the Stripe Customer Portal.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics added to commandit.ai (cookie-free, aggregate pageviews only).
Fixes
- Fixed: the “Start 7-day free trial” button on the pricing page now works (CORS preflight was missing on the payment backend).
- Fixed: the 7-day free trial actually trials for 7 days before billing (was configured to charge immediately).
- Fixed: browser back button from Stripe Checkout no longer leaves the CTA button stuck in “Opening checkout…” state.
- Fixed: error text on the pricing page now meets WCAG AA contrast in light mode.
- Fixed: checkout redirect URL is validated against the Stripe domain before navigation.
